GAMEPLAY PROGRAMMER - QBO

Sep – Nov, 2018

QBO is the outcome of the final project for Game Design class at the Masters of Digital Media. It is a puzzle platform mobile game, with isometric and clean design. The player must Interact with several elements in the level in order to solve the puzzle and reach the goal.

  • Designed the gameplay and level structure, brainstormed and iterated with teammates on gameplay;

  • Planned, developed and tested different controls for the game;

  • Optimize game performance for mobile phones;

  • Conducted several user test sections inside and outside team;

  • Finished a detailed game design document.

 

GAMEPLAY PROGRAMMER - Starwork Launch

Feb – Apr, 2016

A spaceship shooting game with a retro style and beautiful colors. The player must use fireworks to destroy asteroids an collect resources and protect their ships.

  • Developed in-game store for weapons, ships and upgrades;

  • Assisted on the brainstormed with the team about the game progress curve;

  • Enhanced game aesthetics along with the design leader, with particle systems and lighting effects;

  • Optimized starship AI.

 

GAMEPLAY & UI PROGRAMMER - Polychrome

Jan – Feb, 2017

A android color-based puzzle game with simple and beatiful graphics and dynamic increasing difficult.

  • Planned, documented and developed an increasing difficult levels, based on interest curves, aiming player’s continuous engagement;

  • Developed a UI animator system optimized for mobile applications;

  • Implemented multi-language system, as well as, color-blind and left-handed mode;

  • Designed all sound effects based on Pentatonic scale focused on enhancing the game’s aesthetics;

  • Integrated Google’s API (Reward, Ranking, Ads).

 

LEAD PROGRAMMER - Easy UI Animator

Mar – Jul, 2017

A UI animation tool for Unity, designed to be simple and eficiente for mobile. Available on Unity Asset Store.

  • Planned the features of the tool, based on most common requirements and similar tools;

  • Developed and documented the library to facilitate 3rd party contribution;

  • Tested all features in Android, iOS and PC builds;

  • Constant improved the tools based on user feedback and bug fixes.
